Teacher pages on school websites serve as crucial platforms for displaying essential information to students and parents. Leon High School offers detailed insights into course structures, syllabi, schedules, and contact information for teachers like Mr. Aley, who provides dedicated pages for Physics I Honors and AP Physics 1. While publicly accessible information includes overarching course outlines and supplementary resources, details such as individual grades and feedback often require login privileges, ensuring privacy and security. You can explore these informative resources on Leon High School's website here.

To enhance professional responsibilities, it is important to use technology for efficiency and effectiveness in educational settings. I envision using various teacher productivity tools to make tasks easier and improve instructional delivery. Platforms like Canvas provide features for assignment management and communication channels, ensuring seamless interaction between students and teachers. Additionally, incorporating interactive assessment tools such as Kahoot or Quizizz fosters engagement and supports diverse learning styles, ultimately enhancing the overall teaching experience.

Reflecting on my experience with Canvas for Assignment 2, I thought the platform was pretty straightforward with its features for organization and page management. I thought it was user-friendly and had some customizable options but not many. I wish there were more options to add creativity besides inserting your own images. To optimize it for future K-12 students, I would integrate Canvas for tasks like distributing assignments, discussion boards, feedback, and monitoring student progress. As for another recommendation, I would say Canvas has been the most user-friendly platform that I have experienced. If I were to give another similar platform it would probably be BlackBoard.
