As a teacher, understanding copyright and fair use is important when developing instructional materials and guiding students in creating their own works. When developing instructional materials, I would use content that adheres to fair use guidelines respecting intellectual property. Guiding students on citing sources, using public domain materials, or obtaining proper permissions would be part of the learning process. It's important to balance respecting one's intellectual property while also creating adequate access to knowledge and creativity. Some lingering questions I have would be how to understand what areas aren't really clear to students so that I can properly educate them.

When implementing technology in the classroom, one concern I have would be academic dishonesty. A solution to this issue could be implementing a type of plagiarism detection tool. As funny as it may sound, implementing such a tool could "scare" my students into being academically honest. Additionally, I believe having clear expectations for my students would promote academic integrity. Promoting a classroom culture where students understand the value of using their own minds would benefit not only the learning environment but also themselves on an individual level.

Genreative AI like ChatGPT can indeed be a valuable tool in the classroom as it can aid in providing another perspective. That being said, it would require careful monitoring. Having the ability to have instant information from ChatGPT can tremendously enhance the learning environment, but ChatGPT is not always accurate and could make mistakes. It is important for a teacher to explain and guide students to be critical of AI-generated content and really emphasize its limitations. An idea I have is to have students have AI do a task and have them proofread/ find better ways to do the task. That would show them that using AI might not be the best route.

The Newsletter assignment equipped me with organizational and design skills. To improve my design took in the feedback I received and left-aligned the main content of the articles rather than center-aligned for better readability. These skills that I learned from this assignment would help me in my future career by allowing me to communicate information effectively. These skills are useful in making clear and visually appealing communication.
